Working with LockBoxy Tables

Updated: Feb 20

This blog post delves into the intricacies of integrating Notion tables with LockBoxy for enhanced collaboration and data management. Learn step-by-step how to seamlessly add Notion tables within LockBoxy, empowering users to efficiently organize, sync, and modify data across platforms. From providing table details to navigating through various table actions, this comprehensive guide ensures users can leverage the full potential of Notion and LockBoxy for streamlined workflows and productivity

Step 1: Navigate to the Tables Tab

Ensure that you are in the Tables tab within LockBoxy.

Step 2: Click on "Add Table"

Locate the "Add Table" button on the right side of the screen and click on it.

Step 3: Provide Table Details

  • Give your table a name.

  • Select the group where you want to add the table. You can choose from existing groups or create a new one on the spot.

  • Choose a Notion page/table from the list generated. This list contains all pages from your connected Notion account.

  • Optionally, add a description for your table.

Step 4: Table Actions

Once the table is added, you'll see a list of actions you can take:

  • Sync Schema: This option allows you to sync with Notion. Any changes made to the column structure in your Notion table will be reflected here once synced.

  • Delete Table: Permanently delete the table from LockBoxy.

  • Disable: Temporarily disable any forms associated with this table. Only admins can view data in this state.

  • Edit: Modify the table's name and description.

  • Modify Schema: Options to encrypt data, mask Personally Identifiable Information (PII), or restrict column visibility to admins only.

  • Table Data: View the data stored in the table.

  • Share: Select users to share the table with, specify sharing duration, and set permissions.

  • Audit Column: Automatically add audit date and user columns (added in Notion, not in LockBoxy).

  • Add Column: Add a new column to the table.

Follow these steps to efficiently manage and utilize Notion tables within LockBoxy for seamless collaboration and data management.
